PIME Education Support in Am Timan

Classroom Addition for Am Timan Catholic School

In Am Timan, Fr. Daniele Criscione, PIME, and Michelle Regner visited a Catholic High School that was supported through the PIME Mission Development Program. PIME U.S. Supporters helped to fund the construction of three additional classrooms, which first allowed for 60 new students to attend to the school. The project also projected to increase enrollment since its completion.

Here, our group also met with Bishop Philippe Abbo Chen, I.N.D.V. - Bishop of the Diocese of Mongo!

Around Am Timan

Community School

Fr. Daniele & Michelle visit a community school in Am Timan, Chad, on one of the last stops of their trip to the PIME Missions in Cameroon and Chad. Villages here build temporary structures like these, where the parents of the community teach the children, in order to prove the need for a more permanent school building - a dream we will be helping them realize in the future!

Mission Center + Cameroon & Chad

Yaoundé, Cameroon

The first stop for our PIME U.S. Mission Center Team - Fr. Daniele Criscione, PIME, and Michelle Regner - was the Cameroonian Capital of Yaoundé.

Djalingo, Cameroon

Around 600 miles to the north, in the Far North Region of Cameroon, lies our Team’s next stop: Djalingo.

Bibemi, Cameroon

The village of Bibemi is located in the isolated Far North of Cameroon, and is home to the Mariama (the name for the Blessed Virgin in the local language) Health Center.

Mouda, Cameroon

The Mouda/Maroua area is one of the furthest points north in Cameroon, nearly on the border with Chad. Here, the Bethlehem Center is a source of critical resources for people in the surrounding area.

Tikem, Chad

Our PIME U.S. Mission Center Team’s first stop in Chad, they visited several areas that had been positively and permanently changed by PIME U.S. Support.

Mongo, Chad

Our team visited several Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Mongo - managed by PIME Missionary Fr. Sleevaiah Palli - and a boys’ dormitory that was built with the help of PIME U.S. Supporters!
