The Sr. Rodolfi Health Center
Tour the Center and see the effect of PIME MDP Medical Support
Fr. Daniele Criscione, PIME, gives us a tour of the physical rehabilitation and therapy room at the Sr. Rodolfi Health Center in Djalingo. Thanks to PIME Supporters of our Mission Development Projects Medical Program, this health center is able to provide crucial therapy to families from all around the area of Djalingo.
The Sr. Rodolfi Health Center & Claudine's Story
While visiting the Sr. Rodolfi Health Center, Fr. Daniele introduces us to a patient waiting for a checkup - Claudine.
Thanks to physical therapy at the center, she is able to stand on her own following a difficult bout with Cerebral Maleria. Hear her mom tell her touching story.
In addition to providing physical therapy to adults and children, the Sr. Rodolfi Health Center - managed by the MDI-PIME Sisters - also provides braces to those who have malformations or other disabilities.
A man in the village of Djalingo commits himself to constructing these braces, engineered for specific cases that come to the health center, solely using local materials. PIME MDP Medical Supporters providing the funding to allow for this important work to continue.
