Journey through Cameroon & Chad - Witness Your Impact
Throughout the month of February, PIME U.S. Mission Center Director, Fr. Daniele Criscione, and PIME U.S. Mission Center Administrator, Michelle Regner, made their way through the PIME Missions in Central Africa - specifically Cameroon and Chad.
Travel alongside them and witness how your generous support, with the tireless work of our missionaries, has a life-changing impact in some of the most isolated and spiritually-enriching PIME Missions.

YAOUNDÉ
The first stop for our PIME U.S. Mission Center Team - Fr. Daniele Criscione, PIME, and Michelle Regner - was the Cameroonian Capital of Yaoundé. A metropolitan concentration of people, Yaoundé has all the needs of a city. The Mary Immaculate Health Center and the Edimar Center are just a couple of the PIME answers to these needs. The PIME Seminary here is also fostering calls to the PIME Missionary Priesthood.
DJALINGO
Around 600 miles to the north, in the Far North Region of Cameroon, lies our Team’s next stop: Djalingo. In this village in the isolated north, the MDI-PIME Sisters run a medical clinic and rehabilitation center; help to provide children with needed medical equipment; and teach language and vocational skills at a primary school.

BIBEMI
The village of Bibemi is also located in the isolated Far North of Cameroon. The Mariama (the name for the Blessed Virgin in the local language) Health Center has an immense impact on the surrounding area; supporters like you, have been integral in providing glaucoma treatment, needed medications, and, most of all, for maternal health care for mothers and babies! PIME Support also helped supply women, families, and students with a host of projects to improve their lives.
MOUDA/ MAROUA
The Mouda/Maroua area is one of the furthest points north in Cameroon, nearly on the border with Chad. With an intense climate and a resulting geographical isolation, even basic life needs can be a dire situation for the people living here. Founded by PIME Missionary Fr. Danilo Fenaroli in 1997, the Bethlehem Center is a source of critical resources for people in the surrounding area, providing everything from nourishment and care for babies whose mothers have died to physiotherapy for kids with disabilities - and a host of other crucial programs.

TIKEM
Our PIME U.S. Mission Center Team’s first stop in Chad, they visited a chapel under construction through the help of the PIME Chapel Program; met with women learning to sew to make a living for them and their families; and sat with the students waiting for a more permanent, sturdy school to be built.
MONGO
Our team visited several Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Mongo - managed by PIME Missionary Fr. Sleevaiah Palli - and a boys’ dormitory that was built with the help of PIME U.S. Supporters! Demand for education is high in the area, and schools are even adding additional classrooms to meet the needs.

AM TIMAN
The last stop on their trip, Fr. Daniele and Michelle visited even more schools in Am Timan, Chad. One such school was a community school, which was seeking support to construct a permanent school building for their community; the other was a Catholic School that PIME U.S. Supporters helped to add classrooms to and meet the demand for education in the area.
