What is #GivingTuesday and why should we participate? #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. In a season focused on our families and giving thanks for what we have, #GivingTuesday means to bring focus also to our global family. Individuals, communities, and organizations in over 100 countries worldwide will come together in order to celebrate generosity by helping the neediest among us.

Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27^th and will kick off the Christmas giving season by inspiring people to give back.  Last year over $300 million dollars was raised to help people across the planet, and even more was given in volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing, and acts of kindness.

Why get involved through the PIME Missionaries? Together, we can, and will, go where others cannot. We make sure that help reaches the most isolated and ignored brothers and sisters in our universal, Catholic family.
